Softonic review

Simple but flexible bitmap editor

Smoke is a dedicated bitmap editor that allows you to produce some interesting visual effects.

Smoke allows you to edit everything from abstract backgrounds to lighting texts in order to turn your ideas into polished bitmap creations. The smoke effect when you paint on canvas is impressive enough to make anyone look like a dab hand when it comes to painting and its amazing how quickly you can create some impressive pictures. The toolset is very limited - there's not a wide range of paintbrushes, pens, spray cans and pencils etc.

However, Smoke is not suitable for large bitmap images as currently, it's limited to just 1920x1080 resolution so those needing to editor posters or large prints should look elsewhere. Smoke also consumes quite a lot of CPU as it is demanding on resources.

Smoke is an impressive bitmap editor that's great for editing and creating small bitmap images.
